Booking your wedding photographer can be a bit confusing. There are quite a few of us out there in Sussex and Hampshire! The bottom line is that you have to be comfortable with the personality as well as the quality. You will be disappointed on the day if your wedding photographer fails to inspire the wedding party to muster a smile! Over the years we have compiled a list of questions aimed at helping you make the right choice: Can we meet you? Absolutely, in fact that is a must. It is very important that you feel comfortable with us and visa versa. We will visit your Sussex or Hampshire home. Can I view all images from a single wedding? Certainly, we bring along several different full weddings for you to view at our initial meeting. What are your prices and packages? We have a variety of packages designed to give you the freedom to choose what suits you and your pocket. Our attendance fees take into account pre wedding meetings, attendance for two wedding photographers, and all post production work. After your wedding we produce a series of preview sheets and a DVD presentation of all images taken. These are yours to keep. From here you may select which images that you want reproduced into albums, prints and canvases. Alternatively, you may wish to purchase a printable disc in order to print yourself. How long do you spend at my wedding? As long as you want in order to capture the day. All of our packages allow for both photographers right through to the cake cutting and speeches and First Dance. Can I incorporate family photographs in my album? Certainly. Sometimes shots taken from third parties serve to enhance the feeling of a relaxed, friendly wedding. What qualifications do you have? We have been working in photography since the 1980’s working with high quality, medium-format Hasselblad, Mamiya and Bronica equipment. Our passion for photography over the years has seen us working with hundreds of private weddings. Making the switch to Digital has allowed photographers to experiment with their creativity and to produce a whole different style. However, the beginnings and basics still apply. Do you carry back up equipment? Yes, we always carry 3 cameras and spare lenses and batteries. After the wedding all images are backed up onto hard drives and discs kept in fire-proof safes. How many shots do you take? With 2 photographers attending every wedding, we may take anything up to 2000 shots! Are you insured? Yes, we have Public Liability cover up to £2,000,000 as well as Professional Indemnity which allows for restaging of the wedding in the very unlikely event that all goes wrong. What about the copyright of the photographs? Traditionally, all photographs remain the property of the photographer. However, with our disc purchase option we share rights with you for reproduction, personal web sites etc.
